Updating Your Profile

Change your internal name and manage your account profile information.

Accessing Profile Settings

  1. Go to Settings (/settings)
  2. Find the Account Information section
  3. Locate the "Internal Name" field

Internal Name

Your internal name is:

  • Only visible to you and your team
  • Not shown to customers
  • Used for team member identification
  • Optional (can be left empty)

Editing Your Name

  1. Click the "Edit" button next to Internal Name
  2. Enter or update your name
  3. Click "Save"
  4. Changes apply immediately
Your email is used for account access and notifications. The internal name is only visible to you and your team, not to customers.

Name Display

If you don't set an internal name:

  • Your email address is used for identification
  • Shown in team member lists
  • Used in conversation views

If you set an internal name:

  • Name is displayed instead of email
  • Email still shown below name
  • More professional appearance

Best Practices

Use Full Names

  • Use your full name for clarity
  • Helps team members identify you
  • More professional than email

Keep It Current

  • Update if your name changes
  • Use preferred name/nickname if appropriate
  • Keep it professional
