Getting Your Form URL

Get the direct link to your contact form to share with customers or embed on your website.

Finding Your Form URL

  1. Go to Form Management (/admin/form)
  2. Click the Embed tab
  3. Find the Direct URL section
  4. Your form URL is displayed in the input field

Direct URL

Copy the direct URL to your form. You can use this in links, redirects, or share it directly.

URL Format

Your form URL follows this pattern:

https://supportretriever.com/form/[your-form-id]

The form ID is a unique identifier automatically generated when you create your form.

Using Your Form URL

Direct Sharing

Share the URL directly with customers:

  • Email it to customers
  • Include it in documentation
  • Share via social media
  • Add to business cards or marketing materials

Website Links

Use the URL in website links:

  • Add to your website's contact page
  • Include in navigation menus
  • Link from blog posts or articles
  • Add to email signatures

Redirects

Set up redirects from other URLs:

  • Redirect from /contact to your form
  • Use in marketing campaigns
  • Create short URLs for easier sharing

Copying the URL

  1. Click the URL input field to select all text
  2. Or click the "Copy" button
  3. The URL is copied to your clipboard
  4. Paste it wherever you need it

Testing Your URL

Before sharing:

  1. Copy your form URL
  2. Open it in a new browser tab
  3. Verify the form displays correctly
  4. Test submitting a message (use a test email)
  5. Confirm you receive the submission

URL Parameters

You can add query parameters to your form URL to capture metadata:

https://supportretriever.com/form/your-id?source=website&campaign=summer2024

These parameters are automatically captured and stored with submissions. See Using metadata in form URLs for more details.
