Quickly insert saved reply templates using keyboard shortcuts while typing.
How Shortcuts Work
When typing a reply, type a shortcut command (like /thanks) and it automatically expands to the full template text.
Using Shortcuts
- Start typing in the reply textarea
- Type your shortcut (e.g.,
/thanks) - The shortcut is automatically replaced with the template text
- Edit as needed before sending
Type shortcuts like
/thanks to instantly insert saved replies.
Shortcut Format
Shortcuts start with a forward slash (/) followed by the shortcut name:
/thanks- Thank you message/welcome- Welcome message/refund- Refund template/setup- Setup instructions

Troubleshooting
Shortcut Not Working
- Verify the shortcut is spelled correctly
- Check that a saved reply with that shortcut exists
- Ensure you're typing the full shortcut
- Try clicking the saved reply button instead
Multiple Matches
If you have similar shortcuts, be specific:
/thanksvs/thanks2- Use the exact shortcut- System uses the first match found
Shortcut Conflicts
- Each shortcut must be unique
- If you create a duplicate, the newer one takes precedence
- Consider using more specific names
