Create, rename, and delete tags from one place and see how many conversations use each tag.
Opening the Tags Page
- In the dashboard sidebar, open the menu (e.g. Form, AI Companion).
- Click Tags (or go to
/admin/tags).
Show Tags in Inbox and Conversations
Use the Show tags in inbox and conversations checkbox on the Tags page. When it’s off, tags are hidden in the inbox and in each conversation view. When it’s on (or after you create your first tag), tags appear everywhere. You can turn it off later if you want to hide tags without deleting them.
What You Can Do
- View all tags — Table shows tag name, color, and conversation count.
- Sort — Sort by name or by conversation count.
- Edit — Click the edit (pencil) icon to change the tag name or color, then Save or Cancel.
- Delete — Click the delete (trash) icon and confirm. This removes the tag from all conversations.
- Filter inbox — Click the conversation count for a tag to open the inbox filtered by that tag.
- Add tag — Use the Add tag form (name and optional color) at the top of the page to create a new tag. Set the color using the color picker (swatch) or by entering a hex code (e.g.
#3b82f6).
Creating Tags
You can create tags in two ways:
- From the Tags page — Use the Add tag form: enter a name, optional color using the color picker or hex field (e.g.
#3b82f6), and click Add tag. - From a conversation — Use Add tag and choose Create tag "[name]" when the tag doesn’t exist yet.
Creating your first tag automatically enables the tags feature for that form. You need "Create and manage tags" permission to create, edit, or delete tags.
