Control how your emails appear in recipients' inboxes by setting a custom "From" display name.
What is Email Display Name?
The email display name is the text that appears in the "From" field of emails sent from your form. It helps recipients identify who the email is from.
Setting Display Name
- Go to Form Management (
/admin/form) - Click the Edit tab
- Find the Delivery section
- Enter your display name in the "From display name" field
Used as the email "From" display name. Example: "mycompany" → "mycompanySupport".
Preview:
mycompanySupport
How It Works
When you set a display name:
- Your input is used as the base name
- "Support" is automatically appended
- The final format is:
[YourDisplayName]Support
Examples:
- Input:
acme→ Email From:acmeSupport - Input:
TechCorp→ Email From:TechCorpSupport - Input:
My Business→ Email From:My BusinessSupport
Email Appearance
In recipients' inboxes, emails will appear as:
AS
mycompanySupport
New support message from John Doe

Best Practices
- Keep it Short: Use a concise name that's easy to recognize
- Brand Consistency: Match your company or product name
- Professional: Use proper capitalization and avoid special characters
- Clear Identity: Make it obvious the email is from your support team
Leaving It Empty
If you leave the display name empty:
- Emails will use "SupportRetriever" as the default
- This is fine for testing or if you prefer the default
Changing Display Name
You can update the display name at any time:
- Edit the "From display name" field
- Click "Save Changes"
- New emails will use the updated name immediately
- No verification is required (unlike recipient email changes)
