Block unwanted senders to stop receiving messages from specific email addresses. When you block a sender, they won't be able to contact you through your forms anymore.

How to Block a Sender

  1. Open the conversation with the sender you want to block
  2. Click the three-dot menu (•••) in the top right corner of the conversation
  3. Select Block sender from the dropdown menu
  4. Confirm that you want to block this sender

Once blocked, you will no longer receive messages from that email address.

What Happens When You Block Someone?

  • New messages are stopped: The blocked sender cannot send you new messages through your contact form
  • Silent blocking: The sender will not be notified that they are blocked. From their perspective, the form submission appears successful
  • Existing conversations remain: Previous messages and conversations with the blocked sender stay in your inbox until you delete them
  • No inbound count: Messages from blocked senders don't count toward your monthly message limit

Managing Blocked Senders

You can view and manage all your blocked senders from the Settings page:

  1. Go to Settings from the sidebar menu
  2. Scroll to the Blocked Senders section
  3. View all blocked email addresses and when they were blocked
  4. Click Unblock next to any address to allow messages from them again

Unblocking a Sender

To unblock a sender and start receiving messages from them again:

  1. Go to SettingsBlocked Senders
  2. Find the email address you want to unblock
  3. Click the Unblock button next to their address
  4. Confirm that you want to unblock them

After unblocking, you will start receiving new messages from that address. Previous messages that were blocked while they were on your blocked list are not recovered.

Permissions

To block or unblock senders, you need:

  • Be the form owner (full access), OR
  • Have Admin permission, OR
  • Have Block and unblock senders permission

Team members with this permission can block and unblock senders for your forms.

Best Practices

  • Use for spam or harassment: Block senders who send unwanted, inappropriate, or abusive messages
  • Review periodically: Check your blocked senders list occasionally to see if any addresses should be unblocked
  • Don't abuse the feature: Only block senders who genuinely need to be blocked

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the blocked sender know they're blocked?

No. The blocked sender will not receive any indication that they are blocked. The form will appear to work normally from their perspective.

Can I see messages that were blocked?

No. Messages from blocked senders are not stored in your inbox. They are dropped before being saved.

Does blocking affect my message count?

No. Blocked messages don't count toward your monthly inbound message limit.

Can I block multiple senders at once?

Currently, you need to block senders individually from their conversation. You can manage all blocked senders from the Settings page.

What if I accidentally block someone?

You can easily unblock them from SettingsBlocked Senders. Click Unblock next to their email address.
